Phantom Leap – The Great Forest Adventure! (AMIGA - WIP) 

  

A winding path cuts through the deep forest, hidden among moss-covered ruins and ancient trees. Legends speak of untold secrets, hidden treasures—and countless dangers. Only the bravest adventurers dare to enter, seeking to uncover the mysteries that lie within.

As a fearless explorer, you leap into this adventure, jumping over deep chasms, climbing towering platforms, and searching for the hidden paths that lead to valuable coins. But beware—the forest is teeming with strange creatures that don't take kindly to intruders. Furious mushrooms hop aggressively in your way, trying to stop you at all costs. And they’re not alone! Other mysterious beings lurk in the shadows, ready to challenge your every move.

But you're not defenseless! With a daring head stomp, you can defeat enemies and clear your path forward. However, not all creatures go down so easily—some are quick, others are tough, and a few guard secret passages that only the sharpest explorers will uncover.

Every coin you collect brings you closer to the top of the high-score list. But it's not just about reaching the finish line—true masters explore every inch of the forest, uncover hidden areas, and break records. Will you be the one to discover all the secrets and claim the number one spot?

Phantom-Leap-V1_1WIP - Fix for the game:

  • Unfortunately, the previous version crashed. I have uploaded a new version in the hope that it will work again. Unfortunately, I no longer have an AMig to test because mine is defective. The game ran on Winuae without any problems. I hope the problem is solved now 

Phantom-Leap-V1_2_WIP:

  • Teleporter tubes renewed (I hope they are now easier to recognize) 
  • Added more coins to level 1 
  • Added level 1 tutorial (not a nerdy tutorial but I explained some features in the game to make it easier to recognize)
  • Level 2 small fix on a platform (now you can't fall through anymore)
  • Character's outlines have been changed from dark red to black. 
  • Level two at the end made the teleporter more visible and made a coin under it 
  • fixed some bugs 

Note:

Phantom Leap is still in development. Currently, there are only four playable levels, but more content and challenges will be added in future updates! Stay tuned for more adventures!

Unable to get it to load beyond the scorpion engine splash. Pistorm equipped 500 via gotek and a stock 500 with 512 expansion via floppy. Both have the same result. Both machines run your previous games flawlessly.

I will upload an update soon. I hope it works after that. Write me as soon as the new update is uploaded if it works now.

Great game indeed, congratulations! Our Amiga Vault Team is specialized in the creation/conversion of Amiga games and programs in standard WHDLoad format with specific slave, custom splash screen, hybrid icon (OldIcon+NewIcon+ColorIcon) compatible with all AmigaOS, and readme file.

I´ve had a comment on my channel from you on youtube but it seem that it´s not longer there, maybe you deleted him. I think it was about the new game?

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber da war wohl etwas. Falls ich es gelöscht habe, war das keine Absicht – sorry! ;)

It's not bad, but I find it a bit too much to jump so many on each enemy.

There should still be a little challenge. The enemies will become important as the game progresses. Especially the headshots to get screts ;)

WHDLoad version just created by our Amiga Vault Team and proposed to the game developer (see post above), we are waiting for answer from his part before releasing it on our official social channel (facebook and telegram)

It will still take a while until the complete game is finished, but updates will come gradually 

I love the early access, so thanks! I really love your gfx, full of appeal!

This engine and graphics set would also be a good basis for an ARPG.

You could visit tree houses, go to villages an enter the houses, talk to people and improve stats.

A whole quest could exist.

This should not be a quest game. Somehow I was in the mood for a classic platformer again :) RPG with quest order are not so easy. I'm still working on another project and it will take longer with the quests because I also want to tell a story. 

A little tip about the teleporter in level 2: it's here and it gets harder to find it every time you enter the level. So have fun searching. The other two levels have some secrets and there will be more. So let yourself be surprised. :)

I always enjoy making games for the Amiga. It's always a lot of work but I see it as a hobby. I do it in my freetime. I also find the support of the community always great and am happy about any support.  :)
